Anchors Fish & Chips and Seafood Grill: Taste the Best of Fresh Seafood in San Jose

Food tasted very fresh and I enjoyed every bite I'm looking forward to my next visit to try other options on there menu

Plenty of parking. Sat on the outdoor patio because we had our dog. The service was friendly and fast. I really appreciated that the server remembered our dog’s name and offered him water. I really enjoyed the green mussels. The cod piece was huge for the price. Would definitely come back.

This was our first ever visit to this place so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised because the Fish N Chips (Cod) was amazing! The batter is very crispy and light. Also the portions were huge! I really liked the tartar sauce as well. Good Quality! My husband got the Fish N Chips Mixto (mixed seafood) and he liked it as well. The service was also amazing very pleasant and helpful! We will definitely be back as they seem to be the best place in the South Bay for Fish N Chips that I have tried!

Reviews did not disappoint. This place was fabulous- crab cakes- delish. Classic Fish & Chips- fresh and fabulous. Halibut- buttery and cooked perfect. Zero negative things to say about the food. Service was a bit slow, but the food was fresh and hot, so it was okay! Quiet, friendly location. Easy parking. GO! Its very worth it.

I was so surprised by this unassuming place in a strip mall off Meridian and Willow. Food was very good and the service was too. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable and has decent parking. The salads are huge so plan to split them unless it’s your main entree. The lime shrimp tacos were tasty and my parents loved their salmon and petrale sole dishes. The grilled veggies were very good with the salmon. I look forward to going back to try many other things on the menu .

10/10 recommended. I love this place and my co worker frequent here and she always bring the fish and chip if we have an event, or pot luck at work. And one day I was craving it so I had to have some and this locations is literally 5 mins from my job. The fish was just so crispy and the fries cooked to perfection. Definitely on my lunch spot list !!

This is a review for take out only. The ordering was easy. The person who took the order said ten to fifteen minutes until ready. The order actually came out on time. So off we went back to the house. The fish and chips with clam chowder special was very good. Unfortunately I had to delay my meal for thirty minutes. That was a deal breaker. The fish and chips combo was not good cold. Lesson learned. Eat your take out as soon as possible. Of course we will be back for a sit down meal and let you all know.

I love being in the Willow Glen area and one of my very favorite places to go is Anchors on Meridian. The staff is so nice and the food is amazing. I love their salmon caesar, the chowder bowl, the seafood in a white sauce with pasta. It's all so tasty and good. I recommend going there lunch or dinner!
